She was raised in the US and is an ‘Ālimah who completed her ‘Aalimiyyah Degree at Jamiatul Kauthar, UK, a renowned institution for advance Islamic studies. She spent six consecutive years studying the Islamic sciences, thus gaining an in-depth knowledge, and understanding in numerous fields, such as Arabic, Quran, Tafsīr, Hadīth, and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence). She graduated with an MA in Islamic Theology. Upon graduation, she has taught Islamic studies in Jamiatul Kauthar for over a year. After returning to the US, she taught advance Islamic sciences in Darul Uloom, New York for 4 years. She has also served as an instructor of Arabic and Hadeeth studies at Quba Institute, New York.
